Can you introduce yourself? Tell us your name, where you’re from, and a bit about your background.
Hi, I’m Leon from Zagreb. I’m self-employed, working in social media as a content creator. I don’t attend college, so I usually learn on my own.
Why did you decide to join ABC Toronto?
I saw this as a great opportunity to learn more about business in a structured way. I was already familiar with some of the topics from the internet, but I wanted to take things further and actually apply them in real life.
What did you learn during the program?
The most valuable part for me was the focus on action.
At the end of the program, we had to pitch our ideas, which really pushed me to apply what I learned instead of just understanding it theoretically.
That experience helped me gain real confidence in pitching.
What stood out to you the most?
The guest speakers stood out the most because they shared real experiences from their own careers. It was valuable to hear directly from people who have already built something and understand the real challenges.
Would you recommend ABC Toronto?
I would definitely recommend this program. It’s a great combination of travel and business, and it gives you the chance to learn by doing while meeting great people.
