Can you introduce yourself? Tell us your name, where you’re from, and a bit about your background.
My name is Jan, and I’m from Barcelona, Spain. I’m currently studying Mathematical Engineering in Data Science. I joined the ABC BootCamps because I wanted to learn more about business and understand how ideas can develop into real projects.
What did you learn during the program?
During the program, I learned many things, especially the fundamentals of business. We talked about how to structure an idea, how to plan the first steps of a business, and how to think about potential investors and customers. It gave me a clearer understanding of the basics of how businesses start and grow.
What was the most valuable part of the experience?
One of the most valuable aspects was meeting people from many different countries. Interacting with them gave me a more global vision of the world and different perspectives on business and life. It also helped me develop a more open mindset and better social skills when working with people from different backgrounds.
What did you enjoy about Toronto?
My favorite thing about Toronto was definitely the view from the CN Tower. It was an amazing experience to see the city from there. We also spent time exploring the city together, visiting parks, landmarks, and other attractions. Planning activities with other participants was a great way to experience Toronto.
Would you recommend ABC Toronto to others?
I think it’s a great opportunity to meet people from different countries and develop social and communication skills. My advice would be not to overthink it. Just come, enjoy the experience, meet new people, and have fun.
