What did we do at the IBM Silicon Valley Lab?

Our visit kicked off with a panel discussion, ‘The Journey of a Tech Entrepreneur.’ It was led by Vess Bakalov, founder of two startups acquired by IBM over the past four years and now CTO of IBM Software Networking. Participants learned about the challenges of building a tech business and transitioning into a global enterprise.

Next, Vess Bakalov and Andrew Coward, General Manager of IBM Software Networking, discussed how AI is influencing networking. They showcased practical examples of its transformative effects.

The highlight of the visit? Touring the IBM Data Center and campus! Participants explored office spaces, labs, and collaboration areas. They gained a firsthand look at the innovation infrastructure powering IBM’s work in AI and networking.
