“ABC Silicon Valley gave me the missing link between AI and business, helping me understand how technology translates into real-world impact.”

Can you introduce yourself? Tell us your name, where you’re from, and a bit about your background.

My name is Natalie, I’m from the Czech Republic, and I’ve been studying in the Netherlands for the past four years. I recently completed my Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence.

How has your background in AI influenced your experience at ABC Silicon Valley?

I think I bring a slightly different perspective compared to many participants here.

A lot of people come from business or management backgrounds, while I come from a more technical side. That means I understand how AI and technology actually work, and here at ABC I’m learning how those technologies translate into the market and into real user needs.

What sparked your interest in AI, and how does it connect to your experience here?

I actually started in psychology, but I switched because I wanted to combine it with coding. I had been interested in coding since I was younger.

That’s how I found AI; it connects both fields. Over time, I expanded that interest globally. I spent time in Singapore, which is a major AI hub, and that experience inspired me to start the first AI University Club in Amsterdam.

Coming to Silicon Valley felt like the next step, getting the Western perspective on innovation and learning from global leaders in the field.

What has been your favorite part of the ABC experience?

What I really appreciate is how open everyone is. People here are willing to share advice, communicate, and support your ideas without judgment. That kind of environment makes it much easier to explore your own direction and grow.
