SheepAI is one of the biggest AI hackathons by prize value in the region and one of the fastest-growing tech events in Central Europe. In just one year, it brought together over 150 participants from more than five countries and gave out over €40,000 in prizes.
It’s an initiative that brings together indie developers, AI enthusiasts, designers, product leads, and anyone who wants to spend a day building useful solutions and learn by doing. The atmosphere encourages people to relax, create, learn, share experiences, and connect with others who share their passion.
The idea behind SheepAI, as one of its organizers, Viktor, recalls, started quite unexpectedly:
“SheepAI is an initiative we started after competing at a hackathon at MIT in Boston. We wanted to bring that mindset of AI into Europe — in a way that anyone, even non-technical people, can build their idea in one day.”

ABC BootCamps and SheepAI – from collaboration to friendship
The partnership between ABC BootCamps and SheepAI started in May 2025. ABC decided to support the second edition of the hackathon, recognizing the value and the talent that the event brings together. Right after that event, Viktor and Domagoj, the founders of this initiative, decided to join the ABC Silicon Valley program, which was held from June 29 to July 12, 2025.
As part of the new SheepAI hackathon happening on November 29, 2025, in Zagreb, ABC BootCamps is once again going to be there! The hackathon winners will receive prizes to participate in the ABC Silicon Valley 2026 program, which takes place from July 12 to 25, 2026, in San Jose and San Francisco.
It’s what we like to call a real “full circle” moment — from early supporters to partners and friends.
From hackathon to Silicon Valley
SheepAI isn’t just a competition; it’s a launching pad for talent. People come to test themselves, their ideas, and see how far they can go. The format is intense but exciting. Teams get a problem to solve, then spend about 10 hours coming up with a solution. They code it, build their ideas, and the best teams pitch to the judges.
It’s a chance for top talent to expand their knowledge and get a feel of the ABC experience. The people who come to the hackathon share the same mindset you’ll find in the ABC community. They’re curious, creative, and ready to work on their ideas for as long as it takes. Domagoj, one of the founders, shares how his technical background helped him. More than that, ABC Silicon Valley gave him a new perspective:
“It helped a lot when we were developing our idea to think about how it could actually be built, what technical challenges might appear, and how to approach them differently. That experience gave me a whole new perspective on the process.”

Domagoj Vuković, SheepAI Co-Founder
It’s exactly this combination of knowledge, enthusiasm, and openness to learning that connects ABC BootCamps and SheepAI. Both initiatives create an environment where people connect, learn from each other, and grow — professionally and personally.
