ABC Silicon Valley is for those seeking a career breakthrough and knowledge about emerging technologies. ABC Toronto is for bringing your business idea to life. ABC Shanghai is for understanding China's innovation and global business. Try our 1-minute quiz!
How do I apply?+
For Silicon Valley and Toronto, submit a free application and interview with the ABC team. The admissions board makes the final acceptance decision. After acceptance, pay the separate €150 admission fee to secure your spot and agree your tuition payment schedule.
How much are the fees?+
Silicon Valley: €3,900 Early Bird (until 1 Dec 2026) / €4,900 full. Toronto: €2,300 Early Bird / €2,900 full. A separate €150 admission fee is due after acceptance for these two programs; tuition can be paid in up to 9 installments. Shanghai: from €3,700. See each program page for its inclusions.
What does the fee cover?+
Housing for the program, welcome package, lectures, seminars, workshops, materials, networking events, company visits, Certificate of Completion, 24/7 assistance and lifetime alumni network access. Inclusions vary by destination; the €150 admission fee for Silicon Valley and Toronto is separate from tuition.
What do I pay for myself?+
Food, flights, health insurance, private trips before or after the program and personal costs. Budget around 30–50 USD/CAD per day.
Are there scholarships?+
Yes. The ABC Venture Challenge awards 100%, 75% and 50% tuition scholarships to the top teams. Early Bird pricing and alumni discounts are also available.
Do I need a visa?+
For Silicon Valley and Toronto, ABC provides an official invitation letter after acceptance. US visitor/business visa or ESTA and Canadian visitor visa or eTA requirements depend on nationality and planned activities. Check with official authorities; acceptance does not guarantee a visa or entry. Ask ABC about other destinations.
English requirements?+
No TOEFL or IELTS required, but working English is mandatory (B1 minimum for Shanghai).
Where will I stay?+
Silicon Valley: San José State University campus. Toronto: Toronto Metropolitan University campus. Shanghai: hotel, double occupancy with breakfast.
Will I get a certificate?+
Yes — an official Certificate of Completion presented at the closing ceremony.
What if the program is cancelled?+
It's rare, but you'll be informed in time and all payments are reimbursed.
